Bio-Essence – 24K Gold

I have seen Bio-Essence products popping up more and more on social media recently and been very intrigued by them so I was over the moon when I won a giveaway ran by them. The prize was the 24K Bio Gold Water and the 24K Gold Miracle Finisher.

I soon as I opened the package I fell in love with the look of these products. They look so insanely luxurious. I love seeing all the little gold flakes floating in the water!

The 24K Gold Water is essentially a toner infused with gold leaf. It states that it tightens pores and wrinkles along with balancing oils and giving your skin a luminous glow. I’ve been putting some of this on a cotton pad and rubbing it around my face after cleansing. As much as this is lovely and cooling and gives my face a boost of hydration I’m honestly not sure if it’s worth the £16.99 price tag. I think it’s more of a luxury product that looks pretty than a necessity in your skincare routine. It’s a nice treat if you’ve got the money to splurge and might work better for someone who’s skin isn’t as insanely dry as mine.

So the first time I tried this I literally put it on my face without reading the packaging to see what it was actually supposed to do as I was in a bit of a rush. As soon as I rubbed it in though my mind was blown! The Miracle Finisher is a primer, it smooths skin and has a matte finish but at the same time leaves your face soft and glowy?! I’m not quite sure how it does this but I love it! I always use Mac’s Strobe Cream as a primer to get a gorgeous glow but I love that the Miracle Finisher has a matte finish!
This also seals your skin preventing moisture loss along with shielding and protecting it from the elements and preventing clogged pores.

I genuinely love this primer, it’s pricey at £29.99 but unlike the Gold Water honestly is so worth it in my opinion. Superdrug also run offers on this range, I’m pretty sure it was buy one get one half price the other week so you can get this reduced a little!

I’m so pleased I won this giveaway. I’ve loved trying these out and I’m so obsessed with the Miracle Finisher, it’s so perfect for summer because of its matte finish but still gives you a beautiful glow.

Have you tried anything from Bio-Essence? You can check out and buy the full 24K Gold Bio-Essence range from Superdrug.

  1. They both look so pretty! I haven’t got a primer and I’ve never used one but this sounds awesome so I may have to buy myself some! Great post, I’m glad you’re honest about the gold water also! :’) xx

  2. That Miracle Finisher sounds amazing! I’ve never bothered with primers but given how my face looks at the end of the day, I probably should. I’d rather have the Miracle Finisher than the toner, for sure.

  3. This looks amazing! I really need to try it! I’m obsessed with anything gold so tbh I think I will love it! ❤

  4. I’m only just starting to get into both primer and skincare so these sound like a dream to me!
I especially love the sound of the Goldwater, it’s sounds like such a treat.
I’ll keep my eye out for both products!

  5. That primer sounds seriously impressive!! I think I may make the splurge because I’m getting kinda getting sick of my L’oreal Infallible one xxx

  6. Ooh thanks so much for sharing this – I’ve been looking for a new contender for the perfect primer and I think this is totally it! Also I totally do that thing of not reading and applying stuff straight away! It’s got me into trouble once or twice with products with tan in lol!

  7. These products just look so luxurious. it’s a shame the toner doesn’t live up to the beautiful packaging but you’ve fully got me wanting to try the miracle finisher now! Sounds like a fab product!

  8. The primer sounds amazing, I tend to stay away from products with gold in it as they don’t really add anything extra x
