I can’t believe it’s officially been a month since I started blogging! February has flown by! I’ve been trying lots of new products this month but I’ve narrowed my favourites down to five!
Neal’s Yard Remedies Wild Rose Collection
If you read my review on the Wild Rose Organic Collection you will know how utterly in love with the products I was! I’ll not go into too much detail here as there’s a whole post ranting and raving about how much I’d fallen in love with my Wild Rose Beauty Balm and Wild Rose Beauty Elixir. Just letting you all know my opinions are still the same, I adore these products and they are working wonders for my skin. I’ve been using the Beauty Balm as a cleanser in the morning and to take my makeup off in the evening and the Beauty Elixir twice a day, after I’ve cleansed in the morning and the evening. I genuinely enjoy taking my makeup off at night now because of using these products! So if you haven’t splurged on them yet, you should go and do that as a March treat, you won’t regret it!
NYX Cosmetics Retractable Lip Liner
I rediscovered this lip liner in my makeup stock a few weeks ago. I have the shade Nude Pink and I’ve totally fallen back in love with it! The formula is very matte and these lip liners are super pigmented! I love that they’re retractable, I hate having to sharpen lip liners and it means this is perfect for throwing into your handbag for fix ups! It’s very long lasting, I had it on my lips when I went for afternoon tea last weekend and it didn’t budge! It’s also a really affordable lip liner, I got mine in boots for £5.50. I will say that the colour isn’t actually a nude pink, in my opinion it’s more of a dark pink/plum but I love it! It’s just not the everyday colour the name ‘Nude Pink’ makes you think of!
Garnier Ambre Solaire Sensitive Advanced Anti-imperfection Protection Cream
What a long name but boy is it worth it!! I’ve a whole post on this suncream coming up next week so I’ll keep this short and sweet. This suncream has changed my whole suncare life! Check out my post next week or better still go out and buy it and see for yourself how awesome this is!
This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray
I got this spray for Christmas. It came in a little Christmas cracker! (How adorable!) For those of you who haven’t heard of This Works, they’re an all natural company who create skincare, anti aging products and insomnia remedies. I’ve struggled with sleepless nights for years so when I came across this little spray I was desperate to try it! You spray a few spritzes on your pillow just before you want to go to sleep and the aromatherapeutic smell of lavender, vetivert and camomile soothe you to sleep. The spray states it helps you to ‘fall asleep faster, naturally and wake up refreshed’. I’ve been loving this and it’s definitely been helping me to fall asleep on nights when my brain just won’t stop thinking! I love the smell, it’s so relaxing. My mini size spray is almost finished and I’ll definitely be repurchasing the full size!
Benefit Ready Set Brow
My final favourite item this month is Benefit’s Ready, Set, Brow. This is a clear brow gel and like the name suggests, sets your brows in place. I hate when you’ve spent the time brushing out your brows and filling them in that the hairs just won’t sit right! I’ve a lot of baby hairs at the front of both of my brows that go off in weird directions due to a bad wax a few years ago so I use this gel to set them in place! When the gel dries it doesn’t harden the hairs which has been my problem with brow gels I’ve used in the past so I love this!
I hope you enjoyed my favourites this month! Let me know in the comments if you have you tried any of these products before or if you have any favourites from this month that I should try out!
